Where’s the Hamm? (Channel 4, Fridays, 7.15pm)
Sue Barker and Eamonn Holmes are on a quest to find Jon Hamm, who has been hidden in a medieval castle somewhere in Britain. Hamm has been there for six days and must avoid being detected by the seasoned broadcasters, who know he must surface at some point to replenish his food and drink supply. Inexplicably, during episode three, Hamm escapes without Barker or Holmes noticing.

Heida was also impressed by Jon Hamm, when they co-starred in an episode of 'Toast of London'.
She said: "He was in the trailer next to me and was standing outside smoking a cigarette, like Don Draper, being super cool. He's just as handsome and tall as you would think. It's not an illusion."

Huge stars no one will remember in 5 years
The initial success of Mad Men catapulted Jon Hamm to leading man status, but the mixed reviews of the show's final seasons, as well as his failure to churn out another megahit are bad signs for his future. It's always difficult to make the transition from playing a once-in-a-lifetime character like Don Draper to virtually any other role. Even other great actors like James Gandolfini had trouble doing it, and so far Hamm is walking the same path. He looks to be completely focused on his film work as well, with his IMDb page showing several projects for next year, but none that have any significant buzz around them. Here's hoping Hamm can find another round of success, even though we'll always be secretly waiting for him to yell at Peggy whenever we see him.

Bob’s Burgers’: H Jon Benjamin, John Roberts and Eugene Mirman Interview
Do you have a favorite episode?
Eugene Mirman: “I like the one where I befriend Jon Hamm the talking toilet.”

I would have you exorcised so fast. Ok, final question. And it’s the most important so I want you to consider it very carefully: You’ve got John Candy and Jon Hamm. You may choose one. If you choose Jon Hamm, the life and works of John Candy will cease to exist. Also, you cannot ever again eat candy. If you choose John Candy, the life and works of Jon Hamm will cease to exist and you cannot ever again eat ham(m). Choose now, before God and men.
JM: This is easy like peasy. I’ve a vegetarian, so I do not eat the ham. Plus, I like candy just fine. Plus, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is badly overrated. You can hate on me in comments

I am a journalist by trade, starting out as a local news reporter covering crime, politics, health and good old-fashioned local news stories........... .
I went on to work for the UK’s national news agency Press Association. I spent a lot of time waiting for celebrities on the red carpet, and discovered that Kate Hudson and Jon Hamm are the nicest celebs around. I don’t have such kind words for Ross Kemp or Nicole Kidman.

Moving on to things I hope are not secrets: What should we expect from your episode of Black Mirror?
It feels like the most optimistic episode of Black Mirror I’ve ever seen.......
So, less terrifying than the Christmas special. That's good. The Jon Hamm one, right? That one is... harrowing.
Yes. Oh, God, I know. It’s infinitely upsetting. He’s trapped forever. Oh, God.

They are also amusing and witty ("Jon Hamm [Don Draper, Mad Men] is the actor with everything, except the sense to change his name") and characterised by an enthusiasm for creative endeavour that is inspiring and contagious.
