band Belle and Sebastian
In 2015, what did stage-invading actor Jon Hamm put in your mouth during Belle and Sebastian’s Bonnaroo Festival set in Tennessee?
“I have a vague recollection it was a jelly baby? Or sweetie of some description?”
CORRECT. He fed you Gummy Bears.
“I was standing with him and Zach Galifianakis watching a band and they said: ‘OK, we’re coming over to watch you guys next’. The next thing I knew, they were watching us and the two Sarahs were knock-kneed (Laughs) – they were in absolute puddles. They act cool until someone like Jon Hamm is around and then they hide behind you like children and can’t speak.”
During the panel for Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming animated series Invincible at CCXP Worlds, Robert Kirkman’s series announced several high-profile voice cast additions. They include Oscar winner Mahershala Ali as Titan, Clancy Brown as Damien Darkblood, Nicole Byer as Vanessa & Fiona, Jeffrey Donovan as Machine Head, Jonathan Groff as Rick Sheridan, Emmy winner Jon Hamm as Steve, Djimon Hounsou as Martian Emperor, and Ezra Miller as D.A. Sinclair. The eight-episode, hour-long animated series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories in 2021.
Based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by The Walking Dead creator Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man . But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Jon Hamm Talks New Film ‘Wild Mountain Thyme’ & More with Rich Eisen
Have you been binge-watching shows?” Fallon asked Samberg.
“What we actually binge-watched, finally, was Mad Men,” Samberg revealed.“I had never seen it,” he continued.
“The one with Hamm, our friend,” Samberg added as Fallon appeared to be shocked.
Fallon, however, also admitted having watched the first seasons and the last part of the show, without knowing what happens in between.
“It’s one of the best shows ever made, almost,” Samberg joked. "I’ve been friendly with him for a long time and it’s never come up,” Samberg said of Hamm.
“I don’t think it’s ever come up with me either,” Fallon said.
“But it is weird cause he hosted SNL at least twice while I was there, maybe three times,” Samberg said. “We did a bunch of Mad Men sketches, I did like, a Mad Men spoof at the Emmys when I hosted it,” Samberg continued. “I definitely have been living in plain sight as a person acting like they’ve seen Mad Men.”
Andy Samberg Apologized to Jon Hamm for Never Watching Mad Men
"...let me tell you something about about mushroom tea, it's not my thing ok I went to Dave Chapelle's to do some comedy I got pressured into drinking the tea, now I'm gonna tell you I don' t do drugs it's not my thing I don't do drugs but I said ok I'm gonna drink this tea since every body else is and I drank it and Jon Hamm was there and as Jon Hamm is talking he started to look like Phylicia Rashad..."

Nation starts GoFundMe for Jon Hamm so he doesn’t have to do any more Skip The Dishes ads
OTTAWA – The nation of Canada has come together to raise money for struggling actor Jon Hamm so he doesn’t need to do any more of those god awful Skip The Dishes ads.
“I know there are probably more worthy causes to donate to than a guy who already makes millions of dollars a year,” said Aaron Speith of Kamloops as he confirmed his $50 donation. “But this will help so many Canadians.”
“At the end of the day it’s not about him. It’s about us being able to turn on the tv without living in fear of having to see the star of Mad Men do a skit about eating popcorn with hockey gloves on.”
The GoFundMe was started during the NHL and NBA playoffs when Canadians were forced to endure hours upon hours of Jon Hamm acting like an auctioneer, Jon Hamm taking selfies, and Jon Hamm thinking it would appeal to Canadians to do an over the top Canadian accent.
“Honestly I couldn’t even watch Good Omens. I just kept expecting Jon Hamm to ask David Tenant to order him a poutine while really laying into the pronunciation of the word poutine,” said one Toronto resident.
The GoFundMe really took off on news that Skip The Dishes would start delivering alcohol, given the number of Jon Hamm as Don Draper ordering a bottle of Canadian Club ads the company was expected to make. It has already crossed the 2 million mark. Organizers expect to present the money to Hamm next month, in exchange for a blood oath that he will never do these ads again.
A representative for Hamm said the actor would be willing to accept the terms of the deal. “Honestly he doesn’t want to do those ads anymore anyway. Besides he has already lined up his next sponsor – he’s going to be the guy who sings the jingle in the Sleep Country Canada spots!”
A separate GoFundMe to raise money for the unknown actor who plays Hamm’s intern in those ads has only raised 30 bucks.
‘Gilmore Girls’ casting directors share their experience after 7 seasons on the show
It was difficult for the casting directors to find good romantic interests for Loreali
However, not all the parts on Gilmore Girls were such a joy to cast for....
“Nowadays, it’s everything’s much different … the climate has changed over the years,” the casting experts continued. One name in particular stood out from all their years attempting to cast a potential romantic partner for Graham on Gilmore. As shared on the podcast:
Before Gilmore Girls, I worked on a few other shows, and we kept bringing this guy in and he always got so close, and he would test for something, but he was always the second choice. But, I was like, ‘he’s so good, I love this guy, he’s good looking.’ And then, we finally brought him for Gilmore Girls, and he got cast.
The actor in question?
“That was Jon Hamm,” the casting director revealed. Hamm played a wealthy, handsome man that Lorelai meets at an auction. However, after they go on a date, she discovers him to be incredibly boring.
“The funny part about that once he got Mad Men, everyone was like ‘Who’s this guy, where’s he been, Oh my God?’” the Gilmore alum explained. “And we were like, ‘he’s always been great, no one’s taken the chance.'”

It’s an absolute escape from reality, with its beautiful scenery, modern-day fairytale, and, um, an ending that makes the word "twist" look mild. “Right now it’s needed,” says Jon Hamm over the phone. “We all need a little wide-eyed wonder.”

8. Reflecting back on your own childhood, how closely does your life now resemble what you had dreamed for yourself when you were younger?
I’m alive, that’s a good thing [laughs]. When you lose your parents as young as I lost my parents…I don’t know. I’m sitting at my desk right now and looking at a picture of me and my dad from my graduation, and next to it is a picture of me and Jimmy Kimmel. It’s a very strange life, what I have. I’m very pleased with it and happy with where I am. Did I imagine I would be here? I don’t know. I imagined I’d be somewhere, but I’m happy with where I am.
9. Out of all the characters you’ve played in your career, which one do you identify with the most?
I don’t know if I “identify” in the sense that I think I am him or anything, but I think, obviously, because of the length and breadth and depth that I portrayed the character, I will certainly be identified as Don Draper as long as I live. That’s part of being on a television show as successful as it was, for as long as it was. It’s the better part of a decade that I played that character and, until something better comes along, it’s probably what people will keep pointing to. It’s better than the guy I played in Bridesmaids, so…
10. Do you feel like the book is closed on Mad Men? Or would you ever return as Don Draper in some kind of movie or reunion special?
I don’t necessarily see the point in continuing that story. It ended so beautifully and elegantly. I think that the world and the time has moved past that story. If anything, I’d watch a Joan series. I’d watch a Pete spinoff or something. I was so pleased with how Matthew [Weiner] ended the story, and I was so pleased with what we all did on that show. I think it’s nice to be able to put it to rest. I think part of the beauty of Mad Men is that it didn’t lend itself to spinoffs and it didn’t lend itself to prequels or sequels. It’s just a one-off story. It is what it is.
11. If you could live during any other time in history, which one would you pick?
The Paleolithic era, maybe. That sounds kind of fun. Sharpened sticks. Trying to figure out which berries are poisonous. I don’t know — as insane as it is now, I don’t think we’ve ever had it better. If I could go back in time and rejigger the world, I would probably go back to the Industrial Age and say, “We should be really careful about what we’re putting into the oceans and how much plastic we’re making, and we should rethink the nuclear situation.” But we have a pretty good life here on planet Earth. I think we need to understand that we’re all in it together a little more, and lean in towards cooperation and less towards tribalism. If we learn that lesson, maybe we can last another couple hundred years — fingers crossed anyway.
12. What are you most looking forward to in 2021?
The fact that it’s not 2020. I’ve had such positive thoughts for 2020 — “It’s 2020! Perfect vision! This one is going to be the best!” I remember thinking on New Year’s Eve, “This year is going to be the best.” And then it really turned out to not be the best. It turned out to be the worst. So all I can hope for, for 2021, is that it’s not 2020.

I don't understand why you would publish the data lounge link? It was all rumors and gossip with no evidence or proof and a bunch of people letting their imaginations run wild and hate on him for no reason at all. Why would you post something that says Jon is gay?? Does that make sense to you? Very disappointed
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteAgain, thank you for the new post about him being gay but is there any evidence? Other than some middle aged women or gay people sitting at their computers and saying I FEEL LIKE JON IS BLAH or I THINK THIS IS THE CASE? Other than some people's feelings and not cohesive thoughts what's the reason for this assumptions that those people have to make anonymously?? I can guarantee you and show you with proof 80% of those comments about Anna and him come from couple of IG accounts because they 've discussed it with me too. First he is gay then he is in a contract relationship then he is cheating with other women then he is the client and she is the PA because they feel like that's happening and you post it? So?? Many people praise him everyday and many people hate him everyday why would you go to one side and pick one thing and post it? I expected you as some who ran this website for many years and I wrongly thought knew him well be good at spotting BS. It's ok to have questions or be suspicious or whatever of Anna and Jon but I'd like to see some reasoning and evidence not a gossip website BS
