filmmaker Edgar Wright’s highly anticipated Baby Driver has been delayed five months from March 17, 2017 to August 11, 2017. While the longer wait for the next movie from one of the most exciting directors working today is upsetting, this actually may be a smart move.
http://collider.com/edgar-wright-baby-driver-release-date/I love reading plays. Part of the reason I became an actor was that I would read one and think, Ah, it'd be fun to be in that. Arcadia is about the discovery of certain theories of physics and math, but it's also a love story—a sad love story—infused with ideas of early feminism and the Industrial Revolution. The words are just beautiful. Stoppard has an amazing command of the English language. … This is probably my favorite play—it's got this weird combination of excellent dramatic writing and math and science. It sounds kind of nerdy, but there you go."

If there were a movie made about your life, which celebrity would you want to play you? Who would play your parents?I would want Blake Lively to play me, Jon Hamm for my dad and Amy Poehler for my mom. My parents are pretty much goofballs 24/7.

HB: I can't imagine what it's like to work alongside a person like him. Does anyone ever ask him why? Why a lawn mower? Why a nipple?
BF: No, you don't question that. Maybe if you're Jon [Hamm] you do, but I certainly did not. Also, I came in late enough that there's no reason to question anything because there was proof that everything he thought up was pretty much incredible. You don't even really argue, because what's your argument? That something you wrote might not work on this show?

Things were just as bad for Fox's ensemble comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses starring Isla Fisher, Zach Galifianakis, Gal Gadot and Jon Hamm. The film opened in 3,022 theaters and debuted with $5.4 million the eighth worst opening of all-time for a film playing in 3,000+ theaters. The film has grossed just under $14 million domestically so far on a $40 million budget.

Can you share some behind-the-scenes deets from Keeping up with the Joneses? Do any of the cast have any quirky habits?
When I was shooting Keeping up with the Joneses, I found it entertaining that in-between takes of one of our scenes, Jon Hamm and Zach Galifianakis had a competitive Scrabble game going on. As a board game enthusiast myself with an entire 5×5 shelf devoted to board games, I thought that that was awesome.Ciné Nui sur les Animaux Fantastiques et la star Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm leaves behind "Don Draper" and speaks of his jump to the comedy in the cinema
Actor Jon Hamm moves away from his remembered role Don Draper, for the series "Mad Men", with his new acting project that these days has it in the cinema billboard.
"Spying on the neighbors" is the name of the movie that, with comedy tone....Hamm plays tim Jones, the protagonist of this nice film also starring the new "Wonder Woman", Gal Gadot, whom in this interview full of praise
Jon, what sets you apart from this movie and what was the attraction to you?
- There are some actors who are very funny. It's a good group of people who are making this movie. The story is remarkable and we definitely had a lot of fun doing it. On the other hand, I also think it is an interesting glimpse into the dynamics of relationships and how things change; The way your life changes and what you want it to change as you grow older and your aspirations are different as you move through life. I think it's an interesting test of people at that level ... and then there's the jokes and action and all those good things.
You play the handsome and sophisticated archetype of the way a James Bond spy should look ... but the role is comical, so it must be fun.
- Well, it's nice to be able to act against that image in this film; Make it appear that the character is moving in one direction - like the classic spy - and then, in the middle of the way, turn somehow and jump in another direction.
How is the real Tim Jones really?
"I would describe Tim Jones as a reluctant spy. He is very good at what he does, but he does not necessarily think espionage is something he wants to do with his life. He loves his wife but wants to lead a different kind of existence. Tim really does not enjoy the life of an international spy at this time although he may seem to other people to be grandiose. So I think there is some restlessness within him or a desire to move on to another phase of his life.
Natalie (Gal Gadot) takes her role as a spy much more seriously, does not she? She loves it!
- That's right, I think it's a fun dynamic to explore: people who are married and working in a business but one half of the couple is no longer interested in going down that road. I think it's an interesting pair dynamics.
In fact there is a lot of research showing that women are the best spies ... do you have any comments about that?
"That's probably true for a number of reasons. For example, people are naturally more comfortable opening to a woman in many different ways. I think it is probably an anecdote in many ways but I am sure there is some truth in all this.
It is interesting that Tim Jones does not like his work, one imagines that being a spy would be the most exciting job in the world.
- Right. The situation that the film wanted to present, and then turn heads, is the idea that one has to be careful what you want as it asks the question; 'Is the grass really greener on the other side of the fence?' That kind of things. We think there is some comic content in that idea as well as the attempt to find the unlikely friendship that exists between these two couples ... the Joneses and the Gaffney. Tim and Natalie are both confronted with this idea of suburban life within the community to which they have moved and it seems to Tim that this life is a little more idyllic or interesting than it seems to his wife. He really likes this kind of life, she does not think so, she likes his current job as a spy.
What is it like working with the Israeli actress, Gal Gadot, who plays your wife?
-It's something great and interesting, because she is now becoming a well-known character (as Wonder Woman). The first time I met her was on the set of this movie. She is obviously incredibly talented and very young, and is about to become a star of a huge franchise and all that that means, which is a lot. Gal is great .., she is very intelligent and reliable, she has a family that is accompanying her here. As with almost everyone you meet in this industry, when you meet her in person you actually think 'oh, you're just like anyone else. You are a very nice person'.
How interesting and how great was the challenge of doing comedy after his role as dark as Don Draper in "Mad Men"?
"I can not speak for others, but I've found it terrifying to try to create something funny because it's not something I normally do. I know people who create comedy in a professional way, like Zach Galifianakis, and I know how hard they have to work on it, and I know how much of this is a part of their lives. I love watching comedy and I love to participate in it, but I do not necessarily know how successful I am at this. I think I'm very fortunate - or smart enough - to stand beside many funny people in this movie ... so maybe I'm funny by association! It's nice to be in scenes like this today, with people who are naturally graceful. Zach is obviously funny and Isla is also very funny. The whole movie is great, in fact it's bigger than the sum of its parts and that's what you expect when you commit to making a movie.
You won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for "Mad Men", an iconic and unforgettable program. How significant was this program already seen for you in retrospect? People from around the world miss Don Draper and all these fascinating characters.
-Well, I think it's the prototype of a well-told story that stays with you a little after you've closed the book and left the characters. It is nice to see the program in retrospect and with affection, but also to know that the chapter - that book - and that story is over. I like to remember it with love and I understand and appreciate that it has been a wonderful journey that very few people come to undertake. Very few people have that kind of experience in their careers. It was fun and very meaningful for me in many ways and it was nice to be actually involved in something like "MAD MEN" and it lasted so long but it also had an end.
How has it been to continue with your career?
"I think there is a natural expectation or hope to have a moment to regain your balance and your composure somehow, after something like that program. One has worked at a certain level for a long time and then you naturally want to step back and let everything pass you by. I think it all depends on the opportunities you get and the things that come your way and your own life and the way you drive it. For me it is nice to be able to choose and choose (projects). But then there are other difficulties: 'what do you choose? what do you want?' People come to you with different projects, one does not know if they are going to be good or bad. I have rejected many works; There are many things to take into account when choosing what you are going to do and how they are going to be the next months and years of your life. But I am very grateful.

The festival is set for Jan. 12-29, with more than 200 events, organizers announced Friday, Nov. 18. Tickets go on sale Sunday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m.
In the new book, the 56-year-old recalls a celebrity-studded night at the home of the late Sue Mengers, a high-powered Hollywood agent, when Jon Hamm, the star of Mad Men, entered the room.
'What are you doing here?' he scornfully asked Griffin.'Hammy', as she calls him, knew her from when he used to hang out at comedy clubs.
He 'proceeded to get very drunk', she writes.
Back then at the dinner table, Griffin was seated between Hamm and actor Jack Nicholson.
Griffin recalls that Nicholson had just launched into a hilarious anecdote, imitating media mogul Rupert Murdoch, when Hamm started drunkenly 'yammering' in her ear.
'You know your Emmy isn't a real Emmy,' he said to her, exhaling 'boozy' breath.
Griffin, who's won two Emmy awards for her reality show, tried to shush him, but Hamm kept insulting her.
'Do you know how o-o-o-o old you look?' he sneered.
She writes: 'Nothing will convince me to like Jon Hamm.'

As a matter of interest, how does he rate his current Coolest Man competitor in the form of Mad Men’s Jon Hamm?

You’d never guess that “Pillow Talk” was the first play Othello High School senior Israel Gonzalez has ever acted in
Because watching Gonzalez play the role of composer and ladies man Brad Allen was a little bit like seeing and hearing a very young Jon Hamm play a very young Don Draper, the lead character from the AMC series “Mad Men.”
“My brother and I watched a lot of ‘Mad Men’ to prepare for this role, and he had a lot of influence on how I played it, the way he spoke, and his poise,” Gonzales said after the final performance on Saturday.

I see Rich Sommer who played Harry Crane, he lives in my neghbourhood and I see Michael Gladis, who played Paul Kinsey. I see them the most. Jon Hamm is quite busy but we all keep in touch.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEmbFOx_uGM Buck about Hamm :
"He was the cool guy in high school," says Joe Buck, the baseball sportscaster. "He was the cool guy in college. He's not the before-and-after pictures where he was the nerd in high school with tape on his glasses. He was always the guy you noticed." Buck, a couple of years older, got to know Hamm through Sarah Clarke's brother, Preston. And Preston introduced Hamm to his college buddies, including Paul Rudd, who helped Hamm find a manager when he arrived in Los Angeles.

Sportscaster Joe Buck discusses his new book, with Jon Hamm during an appearance, Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 at Chaminade's Skip Viragh Center for the Arts.
Many of those at the sold-out event were probably fans of Buck, son of Cardinals broadcasting legend Jack Buck and a 22-year broadcaster himself.
But just as many (more?) likely had a different motive: They wanted to be in the same room with actor Jon Hamm, who chatted casually with Buck for about an hour. At one point, when Buck suggested as much, the crowd roared in approval.Hamm, just in from Australia, where he picked up an award as "GQ International Man of the Decade," wore an NHL cap rather than his typical Cardinals topper and apologized in advance if he didn't make sense, saying he was "operating at about 80 percent."
That wasn't a problem. Hamm, a John Burroughs graduate, and Buck, who went to Country Day, now MICDS, have been friends since they were 15 years old and played baseball against each other. Their banter was comfortable, amusing and only occasionally serious.
Buck talked about hurt feelings from criticism in print and online. "I don't know if I would have made it if social media had been around" when he started out, Buck said.
Buck seemed particularly sensitive to criticism that he played favorites while calling national games. "I somehow hate every team at the same time," he said.
"I only hate the Cubs," Hamm interjected, getitng a big laugh.
After the event, Buck moved to the rotunda of the Skip Viragh Center for the Arts to sign books, while Hamm was mobbed while trying to exit. A handler took him out a side door, where a few lucky people got to meet him before he joined Buck in the lobby.
Although rules for the event prohibited people getting their books signed from asking to pose for a picture with Buck, that didn't apply to Hamm, who did so happily when asked.

The comedienne says the rehab-vet got wasted at an A-list dinner.
The newly single star, 45, had just finished a day of filming Mad Men when he arrived at talent agent Sue Menger’s home for a small soiree of celebs including Jack Nicholson and of course, Griffin.
“He proceeded to get very drunk during the coffee table portion, and then when it came for dinner, Sue had sat him next to me,” she says.During a conversation with Nicholson, Hamm interrupted with “boozy yammering.”
“First it was, ‘You know your Emmy isn’t a real Emmy,'” Griffin claims. “I let that one go, but then he whispered, ‘You’re so o-o-o-old.'”
Never one to take an insult, she says she snapped back: “You can’t keep up. You’re outclassed. Now zip it; Jack’s talking!”
Aside from the “cruel” comments, she was more disturbed by his “horrible timing” in causing a scene during her conversation with Nicholson.
And the man she calls a “nemesis” didn’t earn his title from one incident. Griffin claims she has known him since before his Mad Men days.
“He’s one of these hot guys who’s mildly funny but actually thinks he’s comedian level funny,” she writes. “You know the type — there’s probably one in your office or family. He just reeks of that. It’s an entitled air. When Hammy wants to be funny, he’s, well, not.”
Of course, Hamm completed rehab after completing his famous drama in March 2015. But Griffin doesn’t think he can blame it all on the alcohol.
“Hopefully done with the drunk, but probably still Don Draper-y,” she sighs

1. Jon Hamm and Ashton Kutcher aren’t the nicest people, like, at all.
Well, not everyone can be beautiful with a fantastic personality to match.
“You’ll never convince me to like Jon Hamm,” Griffin writes of the Emmy-winning hunk, 45, in her book. “The vibe I’ve always gotten from him is cold and somewhat disrespectful … toward me. I’m suggesting he’s one of these hot guys who’s mildly funny but actually thinks he’s comedian-level funny.”
Case in point: At an intimate, very starry dinner party hosted by legendary talent agent Sue Mengers, Griffin had her sights set on getting to Jack Nicholson. “So when Hammy showed up, too, inside I thought, oh great,” she reveals. “He even said to me, ‘What are you doing here?’ I said, ‘I earned my seat at the table. What are you doing here?’”
It was only downhill from there, especially as the Mad Men actor continue to throw back his drinks. While Griffin was discussing Rupert Murdoch with Nicholson, “Hammy picks that moment … to start whispering boozy yammering into my ear,” she admits. “First it was, ‘You know your Emmy isn’t a real Emmy.’ I let that one go, but then he whispered, ‘You’re so o-o-o-old.’”
It’s not necessarily the insult that upset her, either, clarifies Griffin: “Look, I’ve been told I’m old and not funny by a lot of guys — a lot of hot guys, too — but not when I’m in an intimate conversation space with frickin’ Jack Nicholson, an opportunity I figured I’d never get again; that’s the real reason I can’t stand Hammy. The double whammy of cruel but not playful comments and the horrible timing. Again, he’s not a comedian, folks. Hopefully done with the drink, but probably still Don Draper-y.”
Five movie stars who could use a box-office hit right now
Jon Hamm
There's something of a George Clooney quality to Jon Hamm's stardom - he looks and sounds the part more than he actually is the part. After such a dazzling turn on Mad Men, he's got his work cut out for him on the big screen, and has yet to front anything resembling a hit, but it's not inaccurate to call him a movie star.He clearly has good comedic instincts - his small Bridesmaid role was very well received - but they couldn't keep Keeping Up With the Joneses afloat. Hamm needs to find his equivalent of the Coen brothers - a director(s) who knows how to exploit his old-fashioned charms. It's great that he's willing to look like a wally doing zany comedy stuff, but I'm more excited by the notion of a thriller that is able to tap into the dark aspects of masculinity he revealed so deftly in Mad Men
