Jon Hamm Won't Admit He Secretly Loves Morrissey
Jon Hamm has "The Worst Taste in Music"
As far as casting Sterling Archer (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin) in a potential live-action Archer film, well, the team has only one actor in mind “It’s Jon Hamm,” says Thompson, firmly. “If Archer goes live-action, I do believe it will be Jon Hamm. Maybe you could do it with Jon Benjamin’s voice coming out of him? I don’t know. Adam is always like, ‘I don’t know if I want the movie to be live-action because I want it to be Jon Benjamin!’ But if it is live-action—and if it is not Jon Benjamin—it is our greatest hope that it would be Jon Hamm. I can say that with confidence.”
As fans of the show will know, Hamm guest-starred as Captain Hank Murphy, who takes over Cheryl’s brother Cecil’s underwater laboratory armed with missiles of VX nerve gas—only to be crushed by an off-brand soda machine. His cameo came in the two-part fourth season finale “Sea Tunt,” a parody of the ’70s animated series Sealab 2020.
When I asked Reed back in 2014 about casting Archer—who was modeled after real-life ex-model Jason Fitzgerald—in a potential live-action film, well, his mind went to Jon Hamm, too. Heck, there’s even a Tumblr called Sterling Archer Draper Pryce that mashes up Draper scenes with Archer quotes.
“We’re working on a way to create an H. Jon Hamm Benjamin hybrid,” he told me, while also expanding a bit on how much Archer was influenced by the look of Mad Men. “The production and costume design obviously owe a great deal to Mad Men’s repopularizing the 1960s aesthetic, and Archer’s character model is just lucky enough to be that handsome in real life. Which is probably why he’s a model, now that I think about it.”
Jon Hamm is heading to Amazon to voice its new docuseries about the Arizona Cardinals.
All or Nothing, produced by NFL Films, will feature eight one-hour episodes about the Arizona Cardinals’ 2015 season, "from the draft through the NFC Championship game."
The series, which will be available July 1, marks the latest in Amazon's efforts to expand its unscripted offerings. It also marks the Amazon’s first series to be made available in Spanish (dubbed).

-it's a a tricky question, I've read that you went to school with Jon Hamm, how was he ?
- yes
-how was he at the time ?
-he was good, we were close, we went to Prom, twice
-really ?
-we did, I'm still friend with him
-how was he as a young guy ?
-he was like every kid, he was actually, he had, you know he had a gravity to him, you know because his mother passed away when he was younger, so I've brothers, he was like as my best friend, because he was part of the family, he's very lovely actually but very very insecure like nobody else in high school you know what I mean
Which actor would play you in a film of your life?
Maybe Jon Hamm of Mad Men fame.

One of the film's producers, Walter Parkes, tells PEOPLE the four actors played off each other seamlessly.
"They're all so funny and they're so different physically and yet there's something about this group of friends that you just feel very kind of satisfied at the end," Parkes explains. "I think we were benefitted by the fact that Zach and Jon go back many, many, many years, they're very good friends, and so that had the opportunity for them to form together." But the most surprising performances may come from Gadot and Hamm, Parkes says.
"[Jon]'s most noble role is as this dark mysterious figure Don Draper, but he turns out to just sort of have mastered comic timing," he says.

Zach Galifianakis: Co-Star Jon Hamm Is ‘Frustratingly Funny’ In New Film |
Joanna got to follow up her snog with Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street by kissing Mad Men heartthrob Jon Hamm. Well, nearly . . .
She says: "How does he compare to Leonardo? Well, I didn’t quite get to kiss Hamm. As you’ll see in the movie, I get him, go in to kiss him but his face skids away, leaving a big trail of red lipstick across his face."https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/1346365/we-visit-set-of-new-ab-fab
And while press reports that Harry Styles and Kim Kardashian will be making appearances are denied, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie does throw up some surreal pairings. Who ever thought that Janette Tough from Scottish comedy duo The Krankies would ever be sharing screen time with Jon Hamm from Mad Men?
"There was a great day after filming near the Prospect of Whitby pub on the banks of the Thames", says Saunders. "We all ended up having fish and chips in the pub, and there's a photograph of Kate [Moss] and John Hamm and Bruno Tonioli and Janette Krankie and Celia Imrie and Lulu. The staff remained completely calm, God bless them, as more and more people coming in... everybody in costume. It was terrific."
Jon Hamm also pops up. How sexy is he?
Jen: [almost whispering] Oh god... [looks wistful]
Jo: Oh please, it was in my contract that I'd have a scene with him and get to kiss him. I don't really get to kiss him but I obviously have a damn good go. Jen: He just moves his face and she comes in.
Jo: It was the sweetest thing. I had lashings of lipstick on as Patsy and I had to attack him. He was amazing. Really lovely.

Leg of Jon Hamm: Jon Hamm's in today. No big deal. Just Jon Hamm. Mad Men Hamm. The Mad Hamm. JON BLOODY HAMM!! I have to admit that I have seen less of Mad Men than Game of Thrones but love him anyway. JON HAMM! Now, as cameos go, you’ve got to admit that’s a winner. Jon Hamm meet Kate Moss… It’s good, isn’t it?No one is playing it particularly cool, I have to say (Becks Hale admits to having had to have a little lie down after his costume fitting). No one except Olive, that is. Olive is my whippet, and she is the only one who seems genuinely unphased by the star in her midst. At one point, she sniffs the Hamm’s leg rather disdainfully and moves on.
Moss and Hamm are a pretty intoxicating combination. There are so many people crowded around the monitor that it becomes a health-and-safety hazard. MOVE AWAY! NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Days like these I’m glad to have a front-row seat and have to go in and give notes.
Notes like, ‘Hey, you guys. Wanna go for a drink on wrap?’ Kate has wrapped by lunchtime and encourages a gang of us to the pub. Joanna, myself, Lulu, Gwen Christie, Baby Bunton, Bruno Tonioli, Celia Imrie, Janette Tough and the Hamm, of course. Damian Jones, our producer, is invited too. And so is his credit card.

Asked who was her favourite star to gain a cameo in the show, the Wolf of Wall Street actress - who first shot to fame in '70s in the likes of Coronation Street and The New Avengers - said: 'The delicious Jon Hamm.
'And can I kindly thank Jennifer for writing in that tiny little scene involving him – for me far too short – between John and Patsy, where he remembers with shock that he’s encountered Patsy before. And, in fact, she may have behaved quite badly with him when he was just 15!'
But it also seems that the ever youthful and elegant Joanna managed to steal a quick kiss with the chiseled Mad Men star, adding wryly her favourite moment was a quick lip lock with Jon, with the star admitting: 'Mine was obviously kissing Jon Hamm.
'You don’t see it on screen because I had to go after him off screen and give him a bit of a kiss, is that so wrong?'

JS: You know, you’ve just revealed something that we have no idea about.
Joanna Lumley: How did we reveal this? Tell us how, Anna.
JS: We said, "You were a very big 15." [In the film, there is a joke about a sexual encounter with a young Jon Hamm where he is described as "a very big 15," which this writer took to be a reference to his notoriously impressive penis.]
JL: Oh my God, I didn't understand that. I thought it meant that he was tall, that he looked like a grown-up boy.
JS: I know, I have to say, that's hilarious. We made the joke and we didn't even know.
JL: Oh my God. Is Jon pleased about this joke?
JS: Well, he heard it on the day.
JL: Well, he probably didn't think it was that, did he?
JS: Well, I didn't think it was that! How hilarious.
Maybe I misread it! But that's how I took it.
JS: He was such a joy. And he's so gorgeous. So gorgeous. We’re pushing for him to be the next James Bond, we've decided. We're gonna start saying it. What about Jon Hamm for James Bond, wouldn't he be good?

The format for the show is all over the shop, but hilariously so. Most of the show takes place in a wrestling ring, featuring ex-WWE wrestlers Rhyno, Colt Cabana and X-Pac mixing it up with the show’s host and his arch nemesis Vacation Jason (“It was wild…I got to jump off the top rope onto the wrestling mat.” – James.) The show even featured a surprise appearance by Jon Hamm, the Mad Men star eventually teaming with Vacation Jason against the good guys. “That sort of legitimised rock and roll as a career choice to my mom – that we were on a show with Jon Hamm.” Nods James.

So I moved to photography to get in front of the camera and play characters and was inspired by David LaChappelle, Cindy Sherman, and Saturday Night Live (SNL) ..... I’ve always loved character play. I interned at SNL senior year in the photo department where I would be shooting Jon Hamm and Rihanna would be performing in the background. I loved being involved with photography, character play, creating photos of pop stars while also being able to watch funny & talented performers create great content.

I love Rebel [Wilson], she brings so much with her, and she’s fantastic. I was amazed and enjoyed very much that we got Jon Hamm. Chris Colfer was great fun and I was rather partial to Barry Humphreys as well.

- I didn't know Jon Hamm, but we were backstage and he was rushing off to do an interview and he stopped, came back to me, grabbed my arm, looked me in the eyes and said "you deserve that". I felt like he was giving me a hug of love. As if to say " everybody's been there, brother". You had a bad night, but you still deserve that award". Between Kimmel and Hamm, my takeaway was really positive. It did make me feel like I still belonged in spite of everything.

Danish actor Pilou Asbæk
You know, my favourite thing in American TV show in the last couple of years, was 30 seconds in Mad Men, where Jon Hamm comes home after a long day at work, opens up the refrigerator, takes out a bottle of milk, opens it and drinks it for 20 seconds. You would never get that in an American film, or in a Danish film, or a French film or an Asian film, because the film is one and a half to two hours. So why is TV so compelling? It takes time. We want time. We have a hectic, everyday life. We have to take care of our children, we have to go to work, these are the factors in our lives that makes us stress, but when we watch a TV show, we want to take time to watch it. TV needs to take time so that the characters become three dimensional. When I see a character do something that I do, I identify with him. I don’t identify with a guy who kills 25 terrorists and goes for a car chase through Manhattan. I don’t identify with that. I identify with the person who makes her or his best abilities at work and in the private sphere.
Mandie Fletcher
Kate is just one of many famous faces. Who was your favourite?I love Rebel [Wilson], she brings so much with her, and she’s fantastic. I was amazed and enjoyed very much that we got Jon Hamm. Chris Colfer was great fun and I was rather partial to Barry Humphreys as well.
