Jon Hamm reacts to viral cardboard cutout music video
Back in January, the plucky, poppy New York rock band Loose Buttons released a video for their single “I Saw Jon Hamm At The Beach,” in which the band members cavort around the seaside with a life-size cutout of the Mad Men star. It was inspired by a real incident in which Loose Buttons frontman Eric Nizgretsky saw Hamm hanging with his loved ones on the sandy shores: “As a huge fan of his work, seeing him out there, just being a regular dude, felt wonderfully refreshing.”
Hamm has become aware of the song and its video......... During the appearance, Clarkson brought up “I Saw Jon Hamm At The Beach.” He learned about the video through a text from a friend, and when he watched it, he recognized Nizgretsky from the beach encounter. Also, “Any time they use a cardboard cutout of me, I get paid!”
Nizgretsky was pleased about the attention. “Yoooo Jon Hamm remembers me 👀!” he wrote on Instagram. “Thank you @kellyclarksonshow for chatting about our life changing encounter at the beach.”
Mr & Mrs Hamm were at the Italian designer Bruno Cucinelli's Second Annual Star-studded LA. at Chateau Marmont.... a 120 person dinner party.

Mr Hamm joined TNT before 2025 Winter Classic and interviewed Blues captain Brayden Schem.
Mr Hamm was on CNN's New Year's Eve special with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper....
Cohen noted that Hamm is the "male Nicole Kidman" with all those roles in 2024 : Landman, The morning show, Fargo, Grimsburg, and upcoming Your friends and Neighbors....
... He replied, "Listen, I'm achieving peak, Kidman. I think you called it. I live it. It's all I can do. I love working. I get to work on great stuff and why not me? I vote yes, more me."

Hamm is a fan of the Bravo universe in general and also said he wanted to "pour one out" to Summer House star Paige DeSorbo and Southern Charm star Craig Conover who recently announced they had split up after three years.

If Landman was getting a second season, Hamm said "I'm hoping."

Mr Hamm will be at the Austin for TV festival for a Mad Men Retrospective, from May 29 to June 1, 2025.
" Hamm will be here for an event called A Mad Men Retrospective, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the show's finale. In this panel (the moderator of which is not yet announced), Hamm will reflect on his Emmy-winning performance as Mad Men's Don Draper, the uniqueness of the character in the TV canon, and the show's influence 10 years after it ended."
Celebrating TV is what the ATX TV Festival is all about. This annual summer event is put on by ATX TV and consists of screenings, Q&As, and panel conversations; plus all sorts of parties, live music, happy hours, and other events. It's known for reunions of classic series and cult hits, and according to the website, it's like "TV camp for grownups."
